Oppo F5 launch markets officially confirmed

The smartphone, as rumoured will be bezel-free. After all, no one knows for sure what kind of processor will power the Chinese company's next "selfie expert", and although the F3 and F3 Plus settled for mid-range chips earlier in the year, a spectacular upgrade to a high-end Snapdragon 835 SoC is not entirely out of the question. This will definitely enhance the typical high megapixel count selfie cameras that OPPO now possesses on its smartphones.

After the leaked renders, we came across an invite spotted on the official Facebook page of Oppo claiming that the Oppo F5 could be unveiled on October 26. Apart from this, Oppo has also revealed that like its other F-series smartphones, Oppo F5 will also be a selfie-centric smartphone. The AI technology will also enable the users to self-learn and enchance each shot or selfies.

Meanwhile, as reported by Android Headlines, Oppo has apparently confirmed to launch the Oppo F5 to India and Southeast Asia markets including Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.

It is further said that the upcoming Oppo F5 will come with a AI Beauty Recognition technology. The phone is supposed to beautify the selfies using artificial intelligence.

Besides shedding light on the availability of the Oppo F5, the company has released several images of the device showing its full-screen design.

Aside from launch-related info, Oppo also confirmed that the F5 is the company's first phone with full-screen FHD+ display (2160 x 1080 pixels). This AI process will also be able to recognize every person of any age and do the desired enhancements according to the age. Meanwhile, it should be noted that Oppo has not officially confirmed the launch date of the F5 as of yet, however, the company is said to do so very soon.

The smartphone is also expected to be powered by 4,000 mAh battery.
