Gridiron Game Mode Announced for Call of Duty: WWII

New Call of Duty WW2 mode Gridiron is a take on Uplink and it's getting a map set in London during the Blitz

When is Call of Duty WW2 released? It feels and plays great all the while slowing down gameplay, which is something fans have been asking for since the past 2 releases. According to a report from GameRant, the image represents the "Call of Duty: WWII" multiplayer mode called Gridiron, which is a boots-on-the-ground version of the popular multiplayer mode known as Uplink. Game modes like this have previously been in other Call of Duty games, particularly Advanced Warfare's Uplink mode and other one-flag Capture The Flag modes. However, because of the World War 2 setting, you'll be using an old leather football. Gridiron will be playable on a new map taking place in wartorn London. The map is called London Docks. You can look at the full leak via CharlieIntel's post.

"We are super proud of the game and can not wait to play it with the community, so please hang on for a bit as November 3rd is nearly here".

Condrey also gave Charlie Intel the first look at the London map. It's a studio favorite for domination, hardpoint, and TDM, and we think it could be a standout for the competitive season ahead. The War Mode will also include multiple maps available at launch.

With the probable small area of the London map that will be part of the game mode, players can likely expect that the Call of Duty WW2 Gridiron mode will be a very fast-paced and intense match as long as the two teams can keep stealing the ball from one another to get points.

Luckily there's not much time left to wait until Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and we can check it all out for ourselves.
