Gionee S11 images leak, show off bezel-less screen and dual cameras

Specifications

One can mark the day, for, Gionee is all set to launch eight bezel-less smartphones on this particular date.

Gionee S11 is not new to the rumor mill. The phone was spotted on Chinese telecom regulator TENAA's website last month and has also been sighted in the database of GFXBench.

The latest images reveal that the Gionee S11 will be available in three color options; Gold, Pink, and Blue. It will also house dual-camera setups on both front and rear of the device. The rear setup will have 16MP and 8MP sensors and the front setup will have 20MP and 8MP sensors. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz octa-core processor with unknown chipset which is coupled with 6GB RAM.

The hybrid dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Amigo OS 5.0 and is fueled by 3600 mAh battery. Connectivity options for the smartphone include 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a micro USB port.

The front panel is mostly screen, with slight bezels on top for the cameras and the speaker and on the bottom for the Gionee logo. The pricing details are a mystery at this point. Dubbed the Gionee S11, the smartphone has appeared on a leak which indicates familiar design philosophy as that of its predecessor.
