Moto X4 launched in India for Rs 20999: Specs, features and everything you need to know

Motorola will be live streaming the Moto X4 launch on YouTube. Other features which make the Moto X4 a standout model include an IP68 water and dust resistance.

The company has already confirmed that Moto X4 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart, but the price and availability date will be revealed after launch. This is significantly lower than the Euro 399 (roughly Rs. 30,300) price tag given to it at its launch during IFA 2017.

The smartphone was one of the first to come with inbuilt support for Amazon's Alexa voice assistant and based on Android 7.1 Nougat, it of course as supports Google Assistant. The smartphone is powered by the 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is 32/64 GB of internal storage on board which can be expanded via a microSD card (of up to 2TB).

Despite its flagship legacy, the Moto X4 will cater to the mid-range segment. In India, Moto X4 is expected to cost around Rs 23,000. The setup features a colour correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash and PDAF. The dual-cameras allow users to have depth effect shots, bokeh effect shots, ultra-wide angle shots, and selective focus shots. On the camera end, there is a dual 12MP + 8MP rear cameras as well as a 16MP selfie shooter. Moto X4 will also come with Bluetooth 5.0 which enables various Bluetooth devices to simultaneously connect with the smartphone. The smartphone sports an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The Moto X4 packs a 3000mAh battery that claims to last all day, and even supports fast charging (six hours of power in 15 minutes). Just like other Moto Z mods, the 360-degree camera mod clips to the back of the Moto Z, using the proprietary connector to transfer data to the phone.
