New iPhone X App Lets You Remove Its Notch

YouTube iOS 11 battery drain problem will be fixed soon

Don't like the notch that appears on the top of the iPhone X's display?

Ever since the iPhone X was first revealed, the now-famous "notch" at the top of the display has become the topic of much debate. "Don't use visual adornments like brackets, bezels, shapes, or instructional text to call special attention to these areas, either".

For iPhone X users who want a perfectly rectangular display, they can now splurge on Notch Remover, a new 99 cent app created to camouflage the top bar that interrupts the complete edge-to-edge display. If you belong to the latter group of people, you can do something about it thanks to a new app that's now available on the App Store. This effectively "removes" the notch from the top of your phone by hiding it in plain sight.

If you have a burning hatred of the so-called "notch" on your new iPhone X then boy do I have good news for you. Those images have to be assigned as wallpapers in the settings menu. After making all these changes, your iPhone X ends up with something like an old school monobrow status bar, replacing the two brows now appearing at the top of the home and lock screens on the iPhone X. What makes it even better is the fact that you don't need o jailbreak your phone in order to make these changes to the display. Notch Remover costs $0.99, so you're going to have to pay a little bit of money to deal with this particular annoyance. If you don't like it at all and want to do away with it, there's an app for that.
