Mario Tennis Aces Announced For Nintendo Switch This Spring

Following rumors that almost broke the internet over the past few days, Nintendo posted a 15 minute-long video focusing on Q1 2018 on the Switch. Along with the improved visuals and frame rate, the enhanced version will also include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is coming on May 4, 2018. Thanks to its unique aesthetic, achingly cool soundtrack and brilliantly addictive combat, it's great to see this wonderfully refreshing release get a new lease of life on Nintendo's new console in 2018. Kirby Star Allies will be released on March 16. The game launches digitally for Nintendo Switch on February 16. If you've ever played a "Dynasty Warriors" game, you'll be right at home.

The Nintendo Switch has turned out to be a victor for the company.

The platforming adventure game will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch digitally on February 16th. From ports of third-party games and Wii U classics to brand new Nintendo Switch titles and DLC for some of 2017's best games, this Nintendo Direct had it all.

In a nice touch, this re-release will also allow players to slay hordes of skeletons in outfits based on Breath Of The Wild.

Then oh boy, are you going to love The World Ends with You, Square Enix's gloriously colourful RPG, which is headed to the Switch over ten years after it landed on the DS. It will be the first Mario Tennis title since the Game Boy Advance iteration to include a story mode. Also to be expected are boss battles and a mission mode.

Set to launch in Spring.

Another take on the pure action platformer, Celeste lets players control Madeline as she climbs surfaces.

These abilities and more will be available for Kirby Star Allies fans to try out when the game launches this coming March. What's new? A new "beginner-friendly" mode featuring Funky Kong. In Hide It mode, players have a certain amount of time to hide a balloon. While Balloon World sounds like a whole new universe, that's not the case. Wave 1 will have Aegislash and support pokemonRayquaza and Mimikyu.
