Twitter landed in a soup yet again after an investigative journalist group, Project Veritas, claimed that some company employees accessed private messages of users.

James O'Keefe, a conservative activist and filmmaker alleged Twitter, that the social network has hundreds of employees who read everything users post online.

More recently, Twitter has forced to clarify why it doesn't ban world leaders even when some might feel they have overstepped a line, as happened with the case of Trump's nuclear button tweet.

Pranay Singh, direct messaging engineer at Twitter, is seen admitting to accessing users' content on video.

"So, all your sex messages and your like d*ck pics are on my servers now". "Because even after you send them, people are, like, analysing them, to see what you're interested in, to see what you're talking about, and they sell that data", he says. Florea continues, saying, "You're paying for the right to use our website with your data basically".

The video hosted by Keefe, who is an American political activist known for his undercover audio and video projects, allegedly shows few Twitter engineers claiming to own access to users' private data.
