Twitter Confirms that it's Employees Are Not Reading User's DMs

Sex sting ‘Hundreds’ at Twitter tracking & storing ‘d*ck pics’- Project Veritas

It explained that a limited number of employees have access to such information and that Twitter enforces strict access protocols for those employees.

Former engineer Conrado Miranda also revealed to Project Veritas' secret cameras that the company "already has a lot of information about you", even before you join Twitter, adding "there is no way" to protect users if the information falls into the wrong hands.

Twitter landed in a soup yet again after an investigative journalist group, Project Veritas, claimed that some company employees accessed private messages of users.

James O'Keefe, a conservative activist and filmmaker alleged Twitter, that the social network has hundreds of employees who read everything users post online.

More recently, Twitter has forced to clarify why it doesn't ban world leaders even when some might feel they have overstepped a line, as happened with the case of Trump's nuclear button tweet.

Pranay Singh, direct messaging engineer at Twitter, is seen admitting to accessing users' content on video.

Another one stuck to the same line, as is obvious from the recording: "All your illegitimate wives and, like, all the girls you've been f*cking around with, they're are on my server now..." "So, all your sex messages and your like d*ck pics are on my servers now". "Because even after you send them, people are, like, analysing them, to see what you're interested in, to see what you're talking about, and they sell that data", he says. Florea continues, saying, "You're paying for the right to use our website with your data basically".

The video hosted by Keefe, who is an American political activist known for his undercover audio and video projects, allegedly shows few Twitter engineers claiming to own access to users' private data.
