Accio Trailer! The 'Harry Potter' Mobile Game Of Your Dreams Is Here

According to the developers, the upcoming Harry Potter game, dubbed Hogwarts Mystery, will have RPG-style mechanics, allowing the players to develop their characters as they see fit.

Developed by Jam City (who also developed Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow and Marvel's Avenger Academy), the game will let players participate in activities in Hogwarts as depicted in the movies and books.

Although the game studio left out all of the famous characters we've grown accustomed to like Ron, Hermione, Hagrid or Snape, you'll be able to rub elbows with Bill Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks.

Last November, we got our first details about Niantic's upcoming take on the world of Hogwarts with the AR focused Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

But presumably, the real draw for fans with Hogwarts Mystery will be just that - the titular mystery of what the school was like in that period between Voldemort's seeming disappearance in Harry's infancy, and his eventual resurgence by the time Harry was preparing to become a Wizard.

The first trailer for "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery", which is coming to iOS and Android this spring, dropped Thursday.

You can customize your character/avatar and upgrade it as you start to learn more about being a wizard through the usual classes like Potions, Transfiguration and of course everyone's "favorite", Defense of the Dark Arts.

A special preview of the game will be given to fans at the A Celebration of Harry Potter event at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida at the end of the month.

Harry Potter has always had a weird relationship with video games, from the traditional movie tie-ins to the LEGO series.
