RSS guiding the Narendra Modi govt, says Rahul Gandhi

Ministers not operating independently as RSS men planted in every ministry Rahul Gandhi

Mumbai: Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's claim that RSS men have inflitrated each and every section and department of the government, some regular readers of ummid.com brought to our notice an old interview of Ram Madhav in which he had claimed that the RSS men are even in the Congress party. "Do you know that there's an RSS person working as an officer on special duty in every single ministry?" he said.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday stopped by a roadside eatery in north Karnataka's Raichur town and munched hot and spicy pakodas and bhajjis and sipped tea in a plastic cup along with state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other party officials. "People understand which is election gimmick and which is true devotion", he said. Another example was the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh where the BJP government destroyed educational institutions by recruiting thousands of teachers. "So, we plan to increase reservation accordingly", said Siddaramaiah, in a bid to woo the voters in the SC/ST dominant constituency.

Gandhi has mounted a steady attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP during his campaign trail in Karnataka as well as in Parliament in recent weeks to try and corner the government on various issues before the 2018 assembly elections in Karnataka and 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Rahul said, "Do you know where the idea of the note ban came from?" He even alleged that demonetisation was an RSS decision and not that of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Modi should stop speaking about corruption, while still being flanked by the likes of BJP's chief ministerial candidate B.S. Yeddyurappa, who was in jail along with his cabinet colleagues, he said.

"Misogyny runs deep within the BJP and PM Modis statements are a classic example of this deplorable mindset", said a tweet posted along with the video with the hashtag "#MisogynisticModi" on the Congress Twitter handle. "Today India is actually isolated in the region", he told professionals and business people here during an interaction on the last day of his four-day "Janashirvad Yatra" in the northern region of poll-bound Karnataka. The Congress kept telling them not to put in place a five-tier GST and to do a pilot project before implementing the tax or otherwise it would be a "disaster", he said. "India did not have to hurt itself". "Eventually they passed the GST and you see the result". "In this situation, India has to have a clear understanding of the path going forward", he said.
