Babysitter accused of abusing 3-year-old girl

039;Monster' babysitter 'shook girl 3 so hard she left her brain dead'

A 3-year-old girl is fighting for her life after a horrific, violent encounter with a babysitter.

Deputies were called after Wesche left the girl with Partin Thursday morning.

In a 911 call, Partin told a dispatcher that Hannah "just passed out" after being dropped off at her home.

To her loved ones, Hannah Wesche has always been something special.

"The little girl. She's 3".

"I think she fought the best that she could which is all we can ask", she said.

"Within the next couple of days, we've been told that it's going to come to an end", he told a judge, according to Fox 19 Cincinnati. It wasn't clear whether she had an attorney ahead of her anticipated arraignment on Monday.

She was unconscious and had obvious bruises to her head and face when first responders picked her up at Partin's home, Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said.

According to Hannah's father, Jason Wesche, doctors concluded the toddler was brain dead.

The girl was transported to Fort Hamilton Hospital before being transferred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. She is charged with of felonious assault and endangering children. She is being held in the Butler County Jail without bond. 'Cases like this rip your heart out. After further investigation, detectives and hospital personnel noted additional bruising on Hannah's body.

"I mean, it's unimaginable".

According to court documents, Partin later admitted to shaking Hannah. I don't understand why or how anyone harms a child'. The Wesche family said the girl had been punched and that she had a black eye.

"We have to sit here and look at our dead little Hannah and just wait for these exams to tell us what we already know", Latham tells WLWT.

The sheriff urged parents to make sure they know who is watching their kids. Get background checks, talk to neighbors, friends, and family members before letting anyone watch your children.

Partin pleaded not guilty to the felony charges and was released from jail on $30,000 cash bond Monday afternoon, ABC affiliate WWSB reported.

Partin is scheduled to appear in court this morning.
