Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan to star in Abhishek Sharma's next

One of the hottest and most talented actors in the South film industry, Dulquer Salmaan has bagged a role opposite Sonam Kapoor in the movie adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's The Zoya Factor.

Leading the screen with Dulquer is the fashion diva of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor.

Sharing the same on social media, Sonam wrote, "Super happy to be a part of this unique story #ZoyaFactor an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's bestseller". Reportedly, the actor will be seen playing a character named Nikhil in the movie.

Rucha Pathak, Chief Creative Officer, Fox Star Studios said, "We are very excited to collaborate with Adlabs Films for ZOYA FACTOR, a rom-com which is adapted from Anuja Chauhan's best seller and we are sure the film would equally excite the audience".

ZOYA FACTOR will release on on 5th April 2019. "Directed by #AbhishekSharma, co-starring @dulQuer @foxstarhindi #AdlabsFilms", tweeted Sonam.

After all the wait, Sonam Kapoor finally made an official announcement about her next with South superstar Dulquer Salmaan.

Karwaan also marks the debut of Akarsh Khurana as a Bollywood director. "She was the first person that came to my mind as she's as bubbly as Zoya and after seeing Neerja, I'd sent her an autographed copy of the book requesting that she read it".

Director Abhishek Sharma completed the final draft of the script and will start shooting in August. The film will be a romcom woven with an ample dose of cricket. It also stars Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. Meanwhile, the players learn that Zoya was born at the moment the Indian team won its first World Cup in 1983.

The Zoya Factor is a story about an advertising professional who turns out to be a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team. Eventually, Zoya falls for skipper Nikhil Khoda who doesn't believe in luck and superstitions.
