Woman gives birth in the Red Sea in incredible photos

This is the incredible moment a pregnant Russian tourist gave birth in the Red Sea in Egypt before her partner and a man reported to be a doctor carried the baby from the ocean

Hadia Hosny El Said captured these images from the balcony of her uncle's apartment in Dahab, north of Sharm el-Sheikh, showing the new father emerging from the ocean helping to carry his newborn.

According to the American Pregnancy Association, the theory behind water birth is that since the baby has already been in the amniotic fluid sac for nine months, birthing in a similar environment could be less stressful for the baby as well as the mother.

A Russian tourist gave birth in the Red Sea in Egypt before her partner and a man reported to be a doctor carried the baby from the ocean. While her photos have been shared thousands of times, the identity of the family has yet to be named.

A woman is said to have given birth in the Red Sea over the weekend, and photos captured by "stunned onlookers" have gone viral on social media.

Mohamed's niece Hadia Honsy El Said posted the images on social media, writing: "The mother came out of the sea after giving birth and it was nothing". A report on Arab News on Monday shares that the woman is shown wearing a "bikini swimsuit" as she emerged from the Red Sea waters, following the newborn, who's shown with the umbilical cord and placenta still attached.

Hadia the woman had gone for a swim before going into labour, and was followed by her partner and the doctor who helped her deliver the baby. Then he took pictures of the mother coming out of the water as she had just taken a swim, and greeting her other child on the beach.

Social media users praised the woman for her apparent "beauty" and "easiness" during the baby's water birth.

Onlooker Andrea Antonello said: 'The sea was really red that day'. According to the BabyCentre article, legends state that Egyptian pharaohs were born in "shallow sea water".
