LG promises faster updates with new Software Upgrade Center

LG G7 ThinQ officially confirmed, will launch in New York on May 2

As per the blog, ThinQ is a brand that reflects LG Electronics" goal of "Thinking in the customer's standpoint and practicing customer's attention'. Located in LG's new research and development campus in Magok-dong, western Seoul, the Software Upgrade Center is just one of the ways LG is demonstrating its commitment to customers' needs. After already revealing an official render of the LG G7 ThinQ, as well as providing comprehensive details on the LG G7 features, AndroidHeadlines can now confirm the next addition to the company's V-line of smartphones will be the LG V35 ThinQ.

Korean tech company LG has now officially confirmed that its next flagship G7 Thinq will launch in May. At launch, the V35 ThinQ will be available in two color options, Black and Grey, with both options adopting the same "premium glossy finish".

The leaked documents also reveal that the G7 ThinQ's display will be brighter than previous LG phones (two times brighter than the G6) due its use of more white pixels.

Other camera features will include 2D and 3D stickers that can placed in photos after they've been taken and the second-generation of LG's Graphy software which lets you place photo information (ISO, shutter speed etc) over the photo. As far as AndroidHeadlines is concerned, this is going to be exactly the same rear camera setup offered with the G7 ThinQ. Similarly, the LG G7 is said to come with Google Lens support. Similar to that of the V30S ThinQ, the upcoming G7 ThinQ will also come with "AI Cam" feature.

The rear camera will also remain as a dual-lens system - LG isn't making the move to three lenses like Huawei - but both will be 16-megapixel.

For those who don't know, ThinQ was created to identify all of LG's consumer electronics, home appliances and services that utilise artificial intelligence.
