Taylor Swift Releases Two Recordings for One-Time Enemy Company Spotify

Taylor Swift released on Friday a cover of Earth, Wind & Fire's classic 1978 track "September" alongside a new acoustic version of her single "Delicate".

Specifically, her "September" cover is the latest (and highest profile) installment in the platform's Spotify Singles series. The other notable change here is Swift's adjustment of the song's opening line: She shifts it from "Do you remember the 21th night of September?" to "Do you remember the 28th night of September", which may be a reference to her relationship with boyfriend Joe Alwyn. "An added layer of sentiment came from being able to record the song in a Nashville studio, the city Taylor moved at age 14 to pursue country music".

That Taylor Swift - she always has a surprise up her fluttery sleeves.

"We think about everything they might've heard about us, every reason they wouldn't want us", she told Spotify about the track.

"Some of the songs that Swift will perform during her world tour are "End Game", ".Ready For It?"

It is still unclear whether Swift will sing some of the most popular songs that she released years ago.

"It annoyed me that people said [Taylor] was encouraging me because I know that she probably got a lot of negative criticism for that".
