Const. Ian Jordan was responding to a call on September 22, 1987, when he was in a crash. Ole Jorgensen, suffered a serious injury in the collision.

Earlier in their shift on September 22, 1987, Jordan had been pushed down a flight of stairs when responding to a call at a nightclub, Jorgensen said, so he was supposed to be heading home.

Const. Ian Jordan was seriously injured in an on-duty auto collision with another police vehicle on September 22, 1987, according to the Victoria Police Department.

"When I caught the baby she stopped crying, then I ran with her because members of the public were throwing stones".
