The Sandlot gang reunites for the film's 25th anniversary

Twentieth Century Fox

Marty York, the actor who played "Yeah-Yeah", admitted his role in "The Sandlot" has brought him enduring perks.

York, 37, was joined by his former costars Tom Guiry (Scotty Smalls), Patrick Renna (Hamilton "Ham" Porter), Chauncey Leopardi (Michael "Squints" Palledorous), Brandon Adams (Kenny DeNunez), Victor DiMattia (Timmy Timmons), Grant Gelt (Bertram Grover Weeks) and Shane Obedzinski (Tommy "Repeat" Timmons), as well as director David Mickey Evans. -This morning, an epic #SANDLOT reunion, 25 years in the making! And to celebrate the 25th anniversary, the original cast reunited to play some baseball and give a brief interview about the lasting popularity of the movie. For York, this meant that he gets to go places for free.

Even after more than two decades, the cast proved they're still on top of the game when they played baseball. "I can't walk through a Las Vegas casino without someone yelling 'Yeah-Yeah!'" And for anyone who grew up in the '90s, another treat that defined the season was "The Sandlot".

It wasn't only the cast who felt the movie's significance, Guiry added.

"I showed (my son) the movie for the first time, and ... well, he's really big on 'Moana, '" proud pop Renna confessed.

When asked what their children think of their work on The Sandlot, Chaucey Leopardi, who played "Squints", said his own teen daughter "thinks I'm just kind of a dork".

It was great to see all the ragtag kids you loved all grown up - but one had grown a bit more than the rest...
