Salah Is In Liverpool To Stay, Says Klopp

Captain Jordan Henderson has to sit out the second leg due to a UEFA suspension

LIVERPOOL MIDFIELDERS JORDAN Henderson and James Milner have both poked fun at Harry Kane as they joked that Mohamed Salah would get credit for all three Liverpool goals in their Premier League win against Bournemouth.

They had appealed the Premier League Match Centre's call to hand Christian Eriksen the goal, with Kane arguing the Dane's free-kick had brushed his shoulder, and the overturning of the decision prompted Salah to respond with surprise on social media. And what a number we scored as a team in the whole season, that's insane.

And Klopp had nothing but more praise for the attacker ahead of Liverpool FC's home clash with Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

On his way to reaching 30 for the season, Salah scored four in a 5-0 win over Watford becoming the first ever Egyptian player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League.

However, the winger, who has started 13 La Liga games this season, is said to want more game time at the Bernabeu under Zidane. It was good that we kept a clean sheet, with the little bit of luck you always need.

"I love him. I have a good relationship with him, he's very nice".

Jurgen Klopp is adamant that Salah will stay at Anfield beyond this summer and the German will be hoping his talisman can maintain his form for the remainder of the season. It's good and impressive - what a number, wow!

On whether he is distracted by all this achievements and the Golden Boot race Klopp said: "Weeks ago, I said to Mo after a game, "that's a situation where you have to pass" and sometimes it's so obvious that he knows it of course".

"We don't want change all the time". I really didn't count clean sheets but it felt like [we have been keeping clean sheets].

This is the most any Liverpool player has managed in a single Champions League campaign, alongside his partner in crime Roberto Firmino.

"I'm thinking about each game".
