Trump lawyer doubles down on claim he's never been to Prague

Michael Cohen President Donald Trump's lawyer doesn't want

President Donald Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen vehemently denied claims he traveled to Prague during the 2016 presidential campaign, calling reports he made the trip "bad reporting" and stating he had "never been to Prague", The Hill reported Saturday.

In last Friday's filing, prosecutors said it would be " unprecedented" to allow Cohen's lawyers to decide what is privileged, and that the government should be allowed to use its own "taint team" or "filter team" to do the job.

Cohen is scheduled to arise in dwelling and his own NY office this week in connection with a raid from representatives with the Federal Bureau of Investigation which has been based on the referral from Mueller simply.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents who conducted the raids were seeking information on payments to Ms Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal, who also claims to have had a sexual relationship with Mr Trump, a person familiar with the matter said.

Cohen is due to appear in federal court on Monday in connection with a raid this week on his NY office and home by agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation that was based in part on a referral from Mueller.

Cohen arranged a $1.6 million nondisclosure agreement on behalf of Republican National Committee deputy finance chairman Elliott Broidy over a "consensual relationship" with a Playboy model who became pregnant, The Wall Street Journal revealed on Friday.

Records related to Cohen's taxi medallion business were also sought.

A court filing did not detail what Cohen is under investigation for. Prosecutors disclosed, for the first time, that agents had secured an earlier search warrant and already have reviewed multiple email accounts maintained by Cohen.

Although Cohen worked for the Trump Organization before resigning at the start of Trump's presidency, he also has maintained private business interests, including ownership of a taxi medallion operation and real-estate investments.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer of adult film actress Stormy Daniels, said on Friday that it's "very possible" Daniels will appear at Michael Cohen's Monday hearing, according to the Associated Press.
