Fake News: Former First Lady Barbara Bush Did NOT Die At 92

Former First Lady Barbara Bush is in "failing health" and has chose to not to seek additional medical treatment following a series of hospitalizations, according to a statement from a family spokesman Sunday afternoon.

In the statement, McGrath says the 92-year-old is no longer in the hospital, but focusing on "comfort care" after consulting with doctors and family members. Bush had suffered from a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease that led to a series of hospitalizations a year ago.

Spokesperson Jim McGrath issued a statement that the former first lady is in comfort care at home. The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy began during her White House years with the goal of improving the lives of disadvantaged Americans by boosting literacy among parents and their children. She has been treated for decades for Graves' disease, a thyroid condition.

'We're grateful for her, for everybody's prayers and thoughts, and just know the world is better because she's in it, ' Hager added. In April 2017, he was hospitalized in Houston for two weeks for a mild case of pneumonia and chronic bronchitis.

Barbara Bush was the 37th First Lady of the United States when her husband, George HW Bush, was President. Bush stood with her husband as their son George W. was sworn in as president.

Bush Hager, an NBC News correspondent, said on Today Monday she and sister Barbara had spoken spoke with their grandmother late Sunday.

"I am still old and still in love with the man I married 72 years ago". Mrs. Bush launched her literacy foundation to help adults with reading skills. She was doing better and had been released earlier this past week, but started to get worse in the past couple of days.

Along with her memoirs, she's the author of "C. Fred's Story" and "Millie's Book", based on the lives of her dogs. Bush and President Bush live their lives always putting others first.

Known for her wit and wisdom, a strong defender of family and country....we send our prayers for comfort to this lovely American woman to whom we owe many thanks.
