Eminem Closes Out Coachella Weekend 1 With Commanding Performance

Eminem opened up a Mom's Spaghetti at Coachella

Rap superstar Eminem closed out 2018's Coachella music festival with special guests 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.

There was also a moment during his set with a pre-recorded re-enactment of the popular "Mean Tweets" segment from Jimmy Kimmel that crushed the momentum of the set, but in an otherwise flawless performance, it can be forgiven.

Bebe Rexha performed "The Monster"; 50 Cent performed the Get Rich or Die Tryin' track "Patiently Waiting" with Eminem, "I Get Money" and "In da Club". He then launched into a set that took fans on a trip down memory lane, complete with throwback hits like "My Name Is" and "The Real Slim Shady".

Eminem offered fans food as well as music at Coachella - opening a pop-up "Mom's Spaghetti" kiosk at the festival.

New material from his ninth studio album "Revival" popped up, too, including the rapid-fire rapping that's been his trademark and still impresses on "Chloraseptic", and "Walk On Water", which Beyonce sang on the album but Eminem's longtime collaborator and "Revival" co-producer Skylar Grey sang here.

The song begins with the question of what you would do if you had one shot, one opportunity.

He also had another big surprise lined up as Dr. Dre sent fans into a frenzy, hitting the stage to perform classics Still D.R.E., The Next Episode, Forgot About Dre, and California Love - six years after the former N.W.A. star headlined Coachella 2012 with Snoop Dogg.

Eminem's message was clear on Sunday.
