Norfolk Police looking for suspect in string of armed robberies

The body of a 15-year-old girl was found in a courtyard in Kohtla-Järve

Officers have arrested the driver they say struck a 13-year-old boy while fleeing from police.

Tyree Ruth, of the Parkway Gardens neighborhood, was charged with three felony counts of armed robbery, according to Chicago Police.

North Bay Police Service allege that the accused entered a Tim Hortons restaurant on Cassells Street and demanded money from an employee.

The attempted robbery occurred at the CVS at 3200 Lafayette Boulevard around 9:10 p.m.

While trying to pull the door open, the clerk told deputies the suspect pulled the trigger of his gun.

HPD Detective Jake Isonhood is seeking information regarding other individuals said to have been involved.

The man drove off in her auto, described as a gold 2006 Nissan Altima with Wisconsin plate number 588-GDS, police said. Court documents say the employee put cash on the counter for Antill and Antill took the money and left the casino.

Police tracked Csak's identification using caller ID and checking school records.

"The suspects are described as all being in their mid-twenties, between 5'08" and 6'0" tall with medium-brown complexions.

He remains in custody after a bail hearing and will next appear in court on Wednesday.
