Russia's US ambassador warns of consequences for Syria strikes

Syria and Russian Federation have denied that the attacks happened and said they were staged by the White Helmets so that the Syrian government could be blamed. This statement is contained in a press release from the U.S. European command (EUCOM).

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the three countries fired over 100 cruise and air-to-surface missiles, most of which were shot down by the Syrian air defense. Air was launched 19 missiles from two U.S. air force bombers B-1B Lancer.
