'Homeland' Star Claire Danes Pregnant With Baby No. 2

Claire Danes & Hugh Dancy Expecting Baby #2 — See Her Baby Bump

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy are set to become parents for a second time.

Speaking to Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show on Tuesday night (April 17th), the 39 year old actress admitted that she was expecting another baby, dropping a mention of it into a discussion about a "mortifying" sex scene she recently filmed for espionage drama "Homeland", whose season finale airs later this month.

Claire wouldn't confirm to Howard whether baby No. 2 was a boy or a girl.

"Yeah, this was planned", Danes replied.

Danes has often spoken about having more children with Hugh, whom she married back in 2009, but also said in an interview some time ago that she was glad she waited to have children. They welcomed their first child, a son named Cyrus, in 2012.

Shortly after he son was born, Danes appeared in the October 2014 issue of Harper's Bazaar UK, where she discussed the challenges of motherhood, E! Interestingly enough, the actress was roughly halfway through her pregnancy when she announced the news. It just wouldn't suit me.

Listen to a clip of the interview below.

"Cyrus changes daily - it's wild, the rate of growth", she explained, via Entertainment Tonight. "It's fun to see the world with him, to get his feedback on what we're seeing". I trust her totally. "I am going to keep that to myself", she told Howard.

During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers in 2016, the actress said, "The worst point is when they're starting to walk, but they don't have the attention span to watch a show, so they just want to wander the aisles (of a plane) and you just want to rip every hair out of every follicle..."
