Fallen Kingdom's final trailer is out

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's release is nearing, and promotion for the upcoming dinosaur-centric film is ramping up; two new posters have been unveiled, as has the film's final trailer.

This much-anticipated film takes place four years after the Jurassic World theme park was obliterated on the island of Isla Nublar, which is also home to an erupting volcano.

Blue, the velociraptor who saved the day in Jurassic World, is one of the last dinosaurs in her species, so trainer Owen (Pratt) is tasked with saving her so more scientific tests can be run.

Trevorrow would not divulge plot details on the next film, though he did state that Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and new cast members introduced in Fallen Kingdom will return.

Jurassic Park has always had its horror elements, going right back to the classic "raptors in the kitchen" scene in the original, but something about the way we see a dinosaur howling at the moon and sinisterly pawing at a sleeping child rubs me up the wrong way. When a T-Rex chomps down on some poor schmoe it's not because it's being villainous, it's because it's hungry and that's what an animal would instinctively do.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to hit theaters June 22.

Universal Pictures is an American film studio, owned by Comcast through its wholly owned subsidiary NBC Universal, and it is one of Hollywood's "Big Six" film studios.

The pair, who got together at the tail-end of the last film, also discover a unsafe plot to have dinosaurs roam the earth once again.

It could be said that this trailer probably gives a bit away about the film but we're still hoping for some good surprises and we are definitely excited for more Dr Ian Malcolm.
