Imran Khan's third marriage in danger as pet dogs return home

Meanwhile, other media reports in Pakistan have reported that Bushra was unhappy with Imran's pet dogs.

The return of dogs, writes the Times of Islamabad, gives "credence to the rumours".

According to media reports in Pakistan, Imran's third wife Bushra Manek has returned to her maternal home. It was agreed before their marriage that no one from Ms Maneka's family would stay for long periods at Bani Gala, the couple's home, but the presence of her son Khawar Fareen Maneka from her first husband "irked" Mr Khan, Daily Ummat reported.

Veteran journalist Arif Nizami while talking on a tv program has said that former interior minister and pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) senior leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is going to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Bushra had made it clear that dogs would not be allowed in their home as they were an interruption in her religious activities. As per a report in Times of Islamabad, Imran's pet dogs, who had been banished from his house allegedly on Bushra's instructions, can again be seen loitering on the premises. That marriage ended ended in divorce after nine years in 2004.

The report added that Khan's canines had earlier been expelled from the home as per Maneka's wishes. The couple have two sons, who live with Ms Goldsmith in the United Kingdom.

Bushra, a resident of Pakpatan district about 250 km from Lahore, is in her late 40s and has five children from her first marriage.

Khan's second marriage with former BBC anchor Reham Khan, in January 2015, lasted only 10 months.
