Fortnite update 4.2 gets a new release date after being delayed

Fortnite update 4.2 gets a new release date after being delayed

The developer announced the news via their official Twitter page.

There's no word from Epic Games as to whether this is an issue that's being worked on, but knowing the studio it won't be long until there's some news, or a patch. Due to these issues, Epic was forced to delay the roll out of version 4.2, which was supposed to bring numerous quests for week 3 of season 4 online.

"We've discovered an issue that's going to delay the release of v4.2", Epic tweeted. Epic Games has promised to update players once they have "a more accurate time frame".

Fortnite search rubber duckies is one of the season 4 week 3 challenges.

Usually this would be a nice easy challenge to kick things off, with Match Replays available from the Career Tab of the main Battle Royale screen. From there, you will be able to find all the stored videos that the game has automatically kept of your matches.

As soon as the patch notes do officially roll out, we will update you with everything new in the update. This week, for one of the challenges, you need to watch a replay.

Epic Games are looking to keep all platforms on par with each other, so it makes sense that the development team would want to get everything right on iOS.

When the new Fortnite update does go live, it will likely mean a meaty update on Mobile and some downtime for servers.

The new patch is set to deliver a new weapon in a Burst Assault Rifle, while you can check out the list of new weekly challenges below.
