Nokia X6 Price, Specifications, Renders Leaked by Chinese Retailer before Launch

Tomorrow is the big day for notch enthusiasts eager to help the Nokia brand consolidate its spectacular comeback, but apparently, no one told Chinese e-commerce giant Suning that, with the revived X6's price tag prematurely revealed today, and all the specifications already disclosed by the regional FCC counterpart further corroborated.

As per a GSMArena report, the price of the new Nokia X6 has been leaked on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The listing states the Nokia X6 will cost 1,499 Yuan, which converts to roughly £175/$235, putting it firmly in the affordable category.

The Nokia X6 will be HMD Global's second mid-range Android smartphone to be launched in China before other markets. The variant listed here has 6GB of RAM but, a 4GB RAM variant is also expected to launch. The smartphone will also feature a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. So, Snapdragon 636 is confirmed as the processor that powers the device. Coming to the cameras, the device will come with a dual camera setup with a 16MP and 5MP sensor.

There's no word just yet on a global launch for the Nokia X6, however the Nokia 6 was initially only available in China before being given a worldwide launch. Nokia is known to keep the OS close to stock Android so it isn't surprising that the X6 will run the latest version of Android OS, Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. On the front, the device will come with a 16MP secondary camera for selfies and video calling. The X6 will be powered by a 3,060mAh battery. The octa-core SND 636 processor is coupled with an Andreno 509 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM options and up to 64GB of onboard strafe, depending on the variant you choose.
