Georgia candidate for governor launches 'Deportation Bus Tour'

State Senator Michael Williams is taking a "Deportation Bus Tour" to the state's sanctuary cities - that is, places where the police won't cooperate with immigration officials - to "expose how unsafe illegal aliens ruin local economies, cost American jobs, increase healthcare costs and lower education standards".

In a press release, Williams's campaign said the tour will "expose how unsafe illegal aliens ruin local economies, cost American jobs, increase healthcare costs and lower education standards". He said he plans to implement a "287 (g) deportation plan", referring to the federal program that would allow local and state authorities to enforce immigration law in their jurisdictions. "We're gonna put 'em on this bus and send 'em home".

Unfortunately, as is the case with most modern-day blusters that you'd rather not watch but can't take your eyes off, Williams released a video outlining this campaign stunt wherein he explains his horrid ideas to a public hopefully less close-minded and crude than he. While by law his bus can not actually pick up immigrants and drop them off in Mexico, the 287 (g) deportation program he touts in his campaign video would allow for the delegation of immigration law enforcement from federal agencies to local law enforcement like police or sheriffs departments. His anti-illegal alien program would expedite the deportation process and send a clear message to illegal communities that they are not welcomed in Georgia.

A Republican candidate for governor of Georgia announced Tuesday that he will drive a "deportation bus" to protest sanctuary cities, Talking Points Memo reports.

Illegal immigration is a fierce subject in Georgia's race for governor; only Michael Williams has the record and the plan to shut down illegal immigration in Georgia.

The state senator's campaign goes on to attack one of his primary opponents, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, for his "failed leadership" concerning "illegal immigration". There's little disputing that, now that we've seen the Deportation Bus. That's right, you heard me.

The Deportation Bus Tour is not Williams' first time in the spotlight.

In closing the advertisement, Williams says, "If you're as exhausted, as I am, with politicians that do nothing but talk and you want to see this bus filled with illegals, vote Michael Williams on May 22".
