Liverpool’s Karius suffered concussion in Champions League final, says doctor

Liverpool's Loris Karius walks past the trophy with his medal after the match

Ramos and Salah clashed in the first half, leading to the latter's withdrawal.

After the incidents with Mohamed Salah and Loris Karius in the Champions League final, Sergio Ramos has denied any involvement in both Liverpool players' injuries.

But what does Ramos think of the fact that he gave Karius concussion?

Many Liverpool supporters blamed Ramos for the clash, which went unpunished by the referee, saying he inflicted a judo-style move on his opponent and a petition was raised calling for Federation Internationale de Football Association and Uefa to punish the Spain worldwide.

Of course, Karius made two costly errors during the encounter, each coming after the encounter with Ramos.

Shortly afterwards Karius's throw out was intercepted by Karim Benzema to give Real the lead.

Ramos has been subject to scathing condemnation for his role in each of the injuries Liverpool suffered during the game, and the World Cup victor has issued an angry response to his critics.

They blamed Spanish footballer Sergio Ramos not only for the controversial tackle but for also potentially keeping Salah from Egypt's World Cup campaign, which opens this month.

"All I need is to hear is Roberto Firmino say that he got a cold because a drop of my sweat fell on him". I didn't want to speak because everything is magnified.

The Egypt star underwent medical tests few days post the European showdown to understand the extent of his injury and it showed that it will take him around three weeks to recover, with the Egyptian Football Association president Hany Abou-Rida confirming that he will be ready in time for the World Cup in Russian Federation.

After the clash with Ramos, Salah did briefly attempt to play-on before being replaced by Adam Lallana after 30 minutes.

Speaking on the day he joined up with Spain for the World Cup, Ramos dismissed the accusations and strongly denied any notion of foul play.

'I spoke with Salah through messages, he was quite good.

"Sometimes I have done it, but it seems that when Ramos does something it always stands out a little more".

'I don't know if it's because you're at Madrid for so long and win for so long that people look at it a different way'.
