Alisson approach unlikely to be made by Liverpool

Brazil's goalkeeper Alisson attends a training session of the national football team ahead of FIFA's 2018 World Cup at Granja Comary training centre in Teresopolis Rio de Janeiro Brazil

The Reds have held interest in Alisson for a number of months and Jurgen Klopp is expected to sign a goalkeeper after Loris Karius' horror show in last month's Champions League final.

Sky Sports claim Liverpool's decision to look elsewhere has boosted Real Madrid's chances of signing Alisson.

Real Madrid are also interested and appear to have a free fun at the 25-year-old.

Today, Alisson hinted that he is closing in on a summer move as he said that he wants his future sorted out before the World Cup and that his agents are looking to push through a move this week.

"I don't really like making lists of who is the best, but as far as I'm concerned, he's one of the best in the world, together with [Manuel] Neuer, who I've always liked and is getting back now, and [David] De Gea, [Thibaut] Courtois".

Roma are keen to tie Alisson down to a new deal after two impressive seasons at the Serie A giants.

Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker hopes to have his future resolved before Brazil begin their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on Sunday.

"If it's not resolved before the World Cup, then it will be discussed after it because my head will be focused only on Brazil".

The Giallorosso are reluctant to do business, though Alisson stated yesterday he was eager to get his situation settled before the World Cup kicks off.

'The truth is that I left everything in the hands of my agent. "We'll see if something happens during this week".

"There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, with respect to Roma".
