It was announced in early 2017 and Square promised additional information this year.

Square Enix released a trailer for an all-new game called Babylon's Fall during the publisher's E3 conference.

Square Enix also relied on some of the more tried and true series that the publisher boasts such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, though there wasn't much to be said about the latter.

Babylon's Fall is a totally new project for Square Enix, but it wasn't the only never-before-seen game that was revealed. While fans know that these titles are going to take center stage at the showcase, it begs the question what else Square Enix has up its sleeve. Of course, we can expect another look atShadow of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 4.

Both Square Enix's western and eastern teams have major titles to show off. Japan has Kingdom Hearts III, Dragon Quest XI, and maybe the Final Fantasy VII remake (even though that's approximately 34 years away from releasing). We know that game isn't as far along as some might think, but it would make sense to use the E3 platform to keep the hype train moving.

Another serious possibility comes in the form of Square Enix's now untitled Avengers game.

Scheduled for a 2019 release, Platinum Games is developing this title.

It's finally Monday morning and we're in the final run up of press conferences leading into the E3 show floor opening.
