Robert De Niro yells 'F--k Trump' at Tony Awards

Robert De Niro, fresh off the Tony Awards stage where he attacked the US president, and celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa are in Toronto today to launch a major new development. Speaking about Springsteen, he went on: "Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else".

De Niro then added: "It's no longer 'down with Trump.' It's 'f**k Trump!'"

Robert DeNiro launched a stinging attack against Donald Trump at the Tony Awards last night, dropping the F-bomb twice within a matter of seconds.

There may not be any angels in America, but according to De Niro there's at least one devil.

De Niro has been very vocal about his opinion of Trump over the years.

When asked about De Niro's remarks, Seawright said he probably would have chosen different words but seemed to praise De Niro for voicing people's "frustration".

Of course, live feeds for the press still aired De Niro's statements in full.

Robert De Niro took the stage at Radio City Music Hall for the 72nd annual Tony Awards Sunday night, but CBS completely bleeped out his first words.

"Hey Trump - I'm talkin' to you!"

The audience responded by giving the actor a standing ovation.

A spokesperson for the U.S. network CBS - which was broadcasting the event - subsequently confirmed that it had bleeped the actor's curses out of the show. "The offensive language was deleted from the broadcast". "Boy, do we need that now!"

On his show Friday, liberal comedian Bill Maher said he hopes the economy crashes in order to "get rid" of President Trump. Garfield said during his acceptance speech, referencing the Supreme Court's decision to side with a Colorado baker who refused to make a cake for a same-sex couple.
