Demi Lovato "broken-hearted" after cancelling show

Demi Lovato Cancels London Concert Hours Before Show – Read Her Statement

"Swollen vocal cords" forced Demi Lovato to postpone her show at the O2 in London hours before she was due to appear on stage.

"If I go on tonight and injure my vocal chords, I could potentially have to cancel the rest of my tour. Just know I feel your frustration and I wouldn't do his unless I absolutely had to", she added.

The Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker has vowed to reschedule the concert for 25 June, and has told fans she is deeply sorry for the "frustration" caused by the late cancellation. The singer announced on her Instagram story that the United Kingdom stop on her Tell Me You Love Me World Tour was unfortunately cancelled due to an issue with her vocal chords that could lead to more serious complications had she chosen to perform.

The Sorry Not Sorry singer took to Twitter to break the devastating news to fans as she apologised to those who had already arrived at the venue for the concert, which was set to kick off at 6pm.

The celeb was supposed to perform at Arena Birmingham tomorrow night.

Continuing to tweet to deal with boredom, she joked that the best part of her day had involved "getting a camera shoved up my nose and down my throat", then added that the procedure was "still less invasive than paparazzi".

Demi went on to say she had rescheduled the concert and said she would be coming back to the UK.

O2 announced that all tickets for tonight's show will remain valid for the rescheduled event. She is also scheduled to perform in Latin America through the fall. "I love you", she finished with a heart emoji. She is not planning on releasing a third single, but is instead working on new music. "She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his "area" and he freaked the f- out hahahahaha", Lovato wrote.

"For all of those coming at me [right now], listen to the lyrics of Warrior and maybe you'll have more compassion for someone who made a simple mistake. You don't have to educate me", she wrote.
