Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are engaged

Recording artist Ariana Grande performs during the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena

Ariana Grande engagement announcement came as a shock yesterday but it looks like Pete Davidson got down on one knee days before we even knew about it.

The 24-year-old also told her friend, fellow pop star Camila Cabello - who often calls her "wife" - that they "need to talk".

Grande and Davidson have been exchanging flirty messages and posting about each other on social media, with Grande teasing engagement rumours on Twitter.

While many fans tweeted their congratulations, comedian Kathy Griffin was a little more cautious in her response...

Ariana and Pete have known each other since at least 2016 when she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live.

The Saturday Night Live regular only began dating Ariana last month, following her split from rapper Mac Miller, but he is said to have placed the custom order with NY jeweller Greg Yuna, aka Mr.

Because Grande is getting married to Davidson, as fans concluded, it means that her and Cabello's "marriage" sadly has to end.

Davidson has two tattoos referring to the singer, including her initials and the bunny ears logo associated with her. Big Boy's Neighborhood shared a clip from an interview they had with Ariana Grande last week at Kanye West and Kid Cudi's Kids See Ghosts launch party and she's seen rocking the ring.

"It's a recent engagement", a source close to the couple told People. While we were busy focusing on the new Grande ink, we somehow managed to miss the other new art on Davidson's forearm - one that conveniently covers his tattoo of his ex Cazzie David's face.
