Here's the First Teaser Trailer for Tim Burton's 'Dumbo'

DISNEYDumbo TRAILER Disney’s live-action remake from Tim Burton gets first teaser – WATCH here

Tim Burton directed the film, following up from his previous Disney adaptation, Alice in Wonderland, which went on to gross over $1 billion at the box office.

As Disney continues on its weird path of making live-action versions of its animated classics, one has to wonder how they will tackle the mainly animal-oriented ones, like the upcoming The Lion King. Burton directs from a screenplay by Kruger. It stars Colin Farrell as a former big top star who finds work with a struggling circus after he returns from war.

Disney unveiled the first look at Dumbo at CinemaCon in April, providing the first look at the flying elephant in live-action. Starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, and Alan Arkin, these teaser is quite effective in its imagery, showing off a family-friendly alternative to Okja. Holt and his children, newcomers Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins, are tasked with carrying for the title newborn by snappily dressed circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito).

It's time to address the elephant in the room: This new trailer for Tim Burton's remake of Dumbo. While Burton and Depp seem to be attached at the hip, Depp's frequent over-costumed mugging has produced some of the least enjoyable Burton films.

It's been a couple of years since Burton released a film, his most recent being Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children in 2016. In 2019, we're getting three more of these reimaginings in the span of just five months and the trailer for the first has landed.

Newcomers to the story include V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), an ambitious and probably duplicitous entrepreneur who wants to make Dumbo and his incredible gifts his star attraction.
