Baker Mayfield fires back at Colin Cowherd for constant criticism

The former Oklahoma walk-on quarterback wore a hoodie that featured the word Undraftable, an adjective Cowherd used to describe Mayfield ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft.

On Thursday, Mayfield got a chance to defend himself against Cowherd, and, judging by his fashion, he came ready for a battle...

When Cowherd questioned Mayfield's antics on one play from that game, the quarterback shot back with that unquestionable confidence to protest Cowherd's point.

"So you saw me celebrate with my teammates like the three touchdowns before that, too?" Did you know I was celebrating with the fans before I went to the sideline? You're acting like I just ran away from everybody.

This isn't the first time this week Mayfield has responded to Cowherd's criticism.

Mayfield: Watch the rest of the game. I was ... Watch the other touchdowns. I'm selfish? Is that what you're shooting for here?

"That was very eye-opening to me", Mayfield said. explaining that the incident was a "rude awakening to responsibility and accountability".

Tell 'em how you really feel, Baker.

Cowherd, who hosts a show on FS1, made it pretty clear in the lead up to the National Football League draft that he was not a proponent of Mayfield, the Heisman Trophy-winning Oklahoma quarterback who went on to be selected No. 1 overall by the Cleveland Browns.
