Digital Extremes Partners with Panic Button to Bring Warframe to Switch - Warframe

Warframe on Nintendo Switch is happening, meaning you'll be able to play one of the best free games on the handiest console. Players take on the role of a Tenno, a race of ancient warriors, and have a chance to master the Warframe armor.

At this year's TennoCon event, Canadian game studio Digital Extremes has announced Warframe Switch. Those who own the console and are looking to get a better idea as to what kind of content they should expect from Warframe would do well to watch the free-to-play game's launch trailer for the Switch below.

Digital Extremes and Panic Button didn't announce any release date or window for when the port will arrive, but the fact that it's already playable is pretty promising.

The game has received various expansions since its release in 2013, including the Plains of Eidolon expansion in 2017, and the The Sacrifice expansion last month.

As a reminder, Panic Button has been responsible for a number of Nintendo Switch ports.

Warframe is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Panic Button has helped develop other titles for the Nintendo Switch, including Bethesda's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Doom, and Psyonix's Rocket League. It seems now we finally have our answer as to what the mystery game is.
