Cricketers Glenn Maxwell and Peter Siddle have both been involved in fiery gestures. "Sad note to end our tour of Zimbabwe, but still plenty of positives to take out of it", Maxwell opened.

As Sarfraz Ahmed went in to shake hands with the Aussie players, Maxwell was captured on camera failing to meet the Pakistan skipper's extended hand.

"In regards to the incident shown post match, it appears unsportsmanlike, and certainly not the way I play the game".

But the victory was marred with a controversy after the match as Glenn Maxwell didn't shake hands with the opposition captain Sarfraz Ahmed and the former has been criticised a lot for the same.

In a tweet, Maxwell said that the incident "appears unsportsmanlike. but it was a genuine oversight" and that "I am now looking for Sarfraz in the hotel to shake his hand".

The Australian cricket team are looking to build from scratch and recover from the entire "Sandpapergate" incident that occurred earlier this year in South Africa.

Australian allrounder Maxwell walked past Sarfraz's outstretched hand as the teams shook hands following Pakistan's six-wicket win in the Twenty20 tri-series final in Harare on Sunday.

But the surprise success of opening the bowling with Glenn Maxwell's off-spin didn't last as Pakistan opening batsman Fakhar Zaman blasted a sublime 91 from 46 balls.

Expressing happiness over the efofrt put by his side, Sarfraz said, "It was a great team effort". Fakhar Zaman and Malik did the job for us. There were a couple of drop catches and misfielding. The Pakistan cricket team retained their No.1 ranking in T20i cricket.
