After Sanju, Sanjay Dutt set to release his autobiography

Box Office- Sanju continues to be strong on second Monday too

"I have had the fortune of living a remarkable life, full of ups and downs, joys and sorrows".

The autobiography is billed as "perhaps the biggest, most dramatic and honest star memoir to emerge out of Bollywood".

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Fox Star Studios, Sanju focuses on Sanjay Dutt's battle with drug abuse and legal troubles due to illegal possession of arms.

The memoir will release next year on the Vaastav actor's 60th birthday on July 29, 2019. I told her I will pick up those documents when I come back.

What makes Sanjay Dutt's journey an epic story, apart from his professional accomplishments, are the ebbs and flows that have characterised his life, the publishers said in a statement. Paresh Rawal, who essayed the role of Sunil Dutt in the film has revealed what prompted him to accept the role in the movie. "I am looking forward so much to sharing my memories and emotions with readers everywhere". Sanjay Dutt disassociated himself from the book after excerpts from it went viral.

Sanju crossed the Rs 100 Crore mark in its first weekend itself which shows the audiences' approval and was even applauded by several critics for its brilliant screenplay. Ranbir Kapoor told that he wanted to do five more films with Rajkumar Hirani and commented that he is planning to do a movie with the director soon. Recently, during the promotions of Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his association with Rajkumar Hirani. Along with Ranbir Kapoor, Paresh Raval and Vicky Kaushal garnered praises for their spectacular performance in the film. The actor is reviving his production firm with the Hindi remake of the Telugu film, which was directed by Deva Katta.
