Fortnite's Crack in the Sky Is Getting Larger

It's been growing ever since it made its appearance, apparently, and as a result it looks like Saturday's Blast Off event was only the beginning of a ton of changes coming to the game soon.

Following Fortnite's month-long antics leading up to a rocket launch that cut between dimensions before tearing an interdimensional rift in the sky over the game's island. Now, players have begun to notice that the rifts are getting bigger.

The main rift in the sky has slowly expanded since the rocket launch over the weekend, with other locations also affected.

No one knows quite what it means, but it does seem to have something to do with the Season 5 launch.

With still over a week to go, whatever Epic Games have in plan for the end of Season 4 is likely to be memorable and spectacular.

More anomalies are starting to occur in the game as time progresses: the motel sign has gone missing, small rifts are starting to pop up all around the map, and parts of the scenery appear to be altered where the rifts are appearing.

There's one that has appeared outside the Lonely Lodge.

This can also mark the start of the season 5 which is due to start on July 12. Here are five events we'd love to see in the future.

It will be worth keeping an eye on the sky over the next few days to see what happens next.

The latest and final challenges for Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale have been leaked ahead of their official reveal.

It should be noted that Epic Games have started switching out and changing challenges before they go live.
