'Life Itself' Trailer From 'This Is Us' Creator Will Leave You Weepy

Life Itself

Amazon Studios has debuted the full-length trailer for a generational romantic drama titled Life Itself, written and directed by Dan Fogelman, creator of the NBC series "This Is Us".

Much like the hit NBC series, the film appears to be specifically created to emotionally destroy you with interconnecting multigenerational stories about love, marriage and parenting.

The film stars Oscar Isaac as Will, an old-school romantic who declares his undying love for the love of his life, played by Olivia Wilde, and the plot looks set to follow their unfolding lives over years - and possibly decades.

If you've watched an episode of 'This Is Us', then you should have an idea of what you're getting yourself in for here - as it's the same guy behind that directing and writing this. "I'm not going to date anybody else for the rest of my life". I'm waiting for the right moment, because... when I ask you out, it's going to be the most important moment of my life.

Check out the Life Itself trailer below. The full cast includes Olivia Cooke, Mandy Patinkin, Annette Bening, Samuel L. Jackson, Laia Costa, and Antonio Banderas.

Annoyingly for United Kingdom audiences there's no release date for Life Itself over here yet, but the USA is getting it on 21 September.
