Liverpool contact Paulo Dybala's agent ahead of potential summer swoop

Juventus are aiming for an eighth Serie A title in a row

Recent reports have linked Dybala with a move to Anfield this summer, with those rumours intensifying following news of Juventus' ambitious attempts to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, although according to the Liverpool Echo, those reports are wide of the mark.

According to a report from Argentinian media outlet TYC Sports, Liverpool have contacted Paulo Dybala's representatives over the possibility of bringing the Juventus forward to Anfield this summer.

Real Madrid are next in line to land Dybala, priced at 5/1, while Arsenal are also in the running at 8/1.

As it stands, Juve aren't looking to sell their 24-year-old talisman and the Reds have no interest in making a move for him as they look to plug the gap left by Philippe Coutinho after he joined Barcelona in January.

Dybala was not told about Juve's plans to sign Ronaldo.

Dybala could be seen as an alternative to Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir.

Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player - World Cup!

Liverpool FC are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Klopp looks to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

Emre Can has revealed his reasons for joining Juventus, suggesting the move was not due to a clash with his former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp.

"Whether we definitely need a centre-back to come in this summer, it would be nice if we could get a fantastic centre-back to partner Van Dijk, but I don't think it's a priority".
