William's call to England: It's coming home!

Gareth Southgate has made England's players believe anything is possible says Shilton

The victor advances to Sunday's final against France or Belgium, which also will be at Luzkniki Stadium. There has been an element of good fortune to the way the draw has fallen for them, but England have so far passed every test they've faced.

We asked England soccer fans to explain why they're saying "it's coming home" and how the phenomenon has evolved during the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation.

"The style of play has changed and so have attitudes. Over the past several days, we've enjoyed it even more because we know what's been going on back at home". Biggest win in the tournament.

That hasn't been the case this year, and since England's 2-0 win over Sweden on Saturday, the song has surged in popularity.

"I think there'll be a bit of nerves as the day comes but a bit of excitement as well because you know you've always dreamed of playing in a World Cup final".

He said: "We are really proud of the support we have received".

"Our supporters and our country has had a long time suffering in terms of football".

"They are proud to wear the shirt. It's because it's coming home". "It is a special feeling and a privilege".

Southgate's side have been buoyed by more than just an anthemic pop song, though.

Southgate was a key player for England at Euro 96 but saw his penalty saved in the shoot-out at the end of the semi-final against Germany which saw them knocked out.

"The welcome of the Russian people has been top", Southgate said.

London Ambulance Service tweeted photos of the badly damaged ambulance and the official Joint Response Unit Twitter account also tweeted to say: "We are better than this England".

"Those emotions are what drive us, that is our petrol and how we have come back to a semi-final after 20 years".

"Hopefully they'll just get their heads down, work hard and get the win for us".

Subasic suffered a tight hamstring towards the end of Croatia's quarter-final win over hosts Russian Federation and was unable to take goal-kicks before the tie went to penalties.
