Federation Internationale de Football Association urges broadcasters to stop zooming in on ‘hot’ women

After documenting more than 30 cases throughout the tournament, anti-discrimination group Fare Network have said that sexism has been the biggest problem at Russian Federation 2018.

Powar said at a news conference on diversity and anti-discrimination that around 15 of these cases involved female World Cup reporters and the others Russian women on the streets.

Federico Addiechi, who is the diversity chief at FIFA, has recently spoke about how they want to crackdown on cameramen zooming in on "hot" women to try and 'step up and tackle sexism in football, ' according to a report from The Independent.

Meanwhile FIFA's head of sustainability and diversity, Federico Addiechi, defended differing sanctions, such as 70,000 Swiss francs (70,000 dollars) for Croatia not using official drinks during a match and 10,000 francs for Mexico due to their fans' homophobic chanting.

Honey shots have been a common phenomenon at this year's World Cup as well.

He also said there have been several cases of women reporters being grabbed or kissed while on air.

Before the tournament began, the biggest concern was homophobia and racism would be a problem.

Addiechi added that it was not a "proactive campaign" but said "we'll take action against things that are wrong".
