Mission: Impossible Fallout Movie Review - A Top-Notch Entry in an All-Timer Franchise

'Mission: Impossible - Fallout' First Reactions Are 'Absolutely Fantastic' for Biggest Movie of Series

Mission Impossible Fallout is releasing on July 27 but there were a few lucky ones, who managed to watch it many days before. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his International Monetary Fund team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.

Fallout is a direct sequel to 2016's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which was also directed by McQuarrie and went on to gross nearly $700 million worldwide. Now what we gathered from the trailer is, Tom Cruise or Ethan Hunt is not so kicked to have Henry Cavill on his side. Never yet known to decline one of his optional missions - a script gag there for the taking, though a possibly less thrilling night out - International Monetary Fund agent Ethan Hunt is constitutionally unable to meet a tall vertical structure without flapping from it by his fingernails a reel or two later.

Perri Nemiroff sits down to review this movie and give you her reaction overall. They praised the film's practical action scenes and director Christopher McQuarrie's script. She also explores what worked and what didn't work for her in this installment of the franchise.
