Sacha Baron Cohen Continues to Troll Sarah Palin

Cohen HOLLYWOOD CA- FEBRUARY 28 Actor Sacha Baron Cohen attends the 88th Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood & Highland Center

Sacha Baron Cohen is seemingly breaking his silence on the controversy swirling around his Showtime prank series to fire back at former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

The seven-episode series marks Baron Cohen's first television project in a decade after he launched his comedy career as subversive white English rapper Ali G., whose interviews included Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich.

Who Is America? is already ridiculous, and it hasn't even premiered yet. His 2006 faux documentary film "Borat" ridiculed Kazakhstan and Middle Americans. On Thursday, a man apparently named Dr. Billy Wayne Ruddick Jr. claimed on Twitter that he was in fact the person who interviewed Palin.

Earlier this week, we learned that former Alaskan Governor, televised hunting enthusiast and one-time Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin had tragically fallen victim to Who Is America? She said she was especially incensed that he had posed as a disabled military vet.

Palin says she sat through what she called a long interview full of "Hollywoodism's disrespect and sarcasm" before she walked out. Needless to say, Palin has not responded to the tweet, which directly addressed her official handle on the platform.

Walsh, who has strong pro-Israel views, said he was invited to a dinner for defenders of Israel and asked to film an interview.

Furious to have been duped, Palin contacted one of the world's most prestigious news organizations (The Daily Mail), and challenged Cohen, Showtime and CBS to donate all the proceeds from Who Is America? to a charity benefiting actual wounded United States military veterans.
