IPhone Survives 1,000 Foot Drop From Plane

What just happened? There have been several incidents over the past couple of weeks that show the unexpected durability of iPhones.

Elsewhere, WhoTV in Iowa highlights the story of an iPhone falling 1,000 feet to the ground out of a plane.

Sarvinder Naberhaus, who dropped the phone, initially believed that she had lost her iPhone for good. One of them took out her phone to take pictures, as you do in this day and age, and dropped it.

After the ride ended, Yildirim used the Find My iPhone app to locate the device on the ground.

"It was face up in the grass right by me, and it was really nice, tall, soft grass", Naberhaus laughed, adding that it taught her that "God has a great sense of humour".

"I thought I don't think I'm gonna find it I'm just gonna leave, maybe I should at least try ringing it one more time", said Naberhaus.

A woman riding on the world's tallest swing ride dropped her iPhone 7 Plus while taking a selfie video.

Despite warnings by management not to bring loose items on the ride, Cansel Yildirim whipped out her iPhone 7 Plus for some amateur photography atop the StarFlyer, a massive swing at Magical Midway Thrill Park in Orlando, Florida.

"I literally went into shock", said Johnson. I asked 'this is this for real?

In the video, the phone appears to be flipping as it makes its way down. The device did not have a scratch on it, and was working perfectly.
