NCIS Season 16 Promotes Diona Reasonover to Replace Pauley Perrette

NCIS Season 16 Promotes Diona Reasonover to Replace Pauley Perrette

Diona Reasonover, who guest starred in three episodes on CBS' veteran crime drama NCIS last season, has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming 16th season. Kesie called Abby to get her blessing before joining the team on a temp basis. Even so, Kasie doesn't have Abby's experience, so it will be interesting to watch as she plays catchup on her forensic skills.

Reasonover's writing credits include the Emmy-nominated I Love You, America, I Love Dick, and Adam Ruins Everything. She is repped by CAA. Its sixteenth season premieres September 25. The latest season averaged 17 million viewers per episode.

Kasie, a protégé of Ducky's (David McCallum), first appeared in Season 15 in the "One Man's Trash" episode, working in the lab with Abby where the two eventually women hit it off, which as fans know was not an easy thing.

Reasonover, 26, had recent guest turns on "Gracie and Frankie" and "Transparent", and was a regular on the 2015 series "Clipped", according to IMDB. He signed another two-year pact Monday, keeping him on the Mark Harmon-starring show through season 17.

NCIS Season 16 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 8/7c on CBS.
