PlayStation Beta Testers Wanted for Upcoming PS4 6.0 Update

PlayStation Beta Testers Wanted for Upcoming PS4 6.0 Update

There is a huge update in the works now for PlayStation 4 users to enjoy and the team behind the powerful console is looking for additional help.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has opened beta test sign-ups for PlayStation 4 system software update 6.00.

So far, only North American and Japanese accounts can register, but Australia/Europe should be open soon.

Are you guys interested in the beta sign up?

It was also revealed that users are allowed to sing up for the beta at any time, starting today on July 19, to July 27. Let us know in the comments.

Unfortunately, we don't really know much about PS4 update 6.00 yet, although the last major patch for Sony's console offered a bunch of new features including supersampling.

Currently, the sign-ups are available in North America and Japan while there is no word on when the sign-ups will be available for Europe.

If Sony deems it worthy of a test, then it's fair to assume that the next firmware update will be a big one. What new features are you hoping Sony has finally added, or are you pretty content with the system as is?
