McDonald's worker beats up milkshake-throwing customer

The McDonald's worker, who has since gone viral, claims she still has her job but is now suspended from entering the store where the incident took place.

She said in a video: "It's insane, people think just 'cause you're working".

She added: "That s**t was insane, it went everywhere".

"I hit her in the teeth", she said, while showing off a cut to her fist.

"I wasn't even going to hit her".

According to the Nevada resident, the chaotic scenes ignited when a customer asked for a free cup of water before attempting to use it at the self-service soft drink machine.

The video appears to show two women arguing.

One woman learned her lesson the hard way after allegedly trying to do just that at a McDonald's.

The woman, who has not been publicly identified, can be seen in a video shot by Instagram user Marie Dayag, whose Instagram name is bxbyness.

While the audio is hard to hear, the row appears to be over money.

The customer can also be heard ranting: "That's why your a** is behind the f***ing counter'". It is not known where the fight took place.

It starts off with the customer hurling a milkshake over the counter towards the employee.

The Instagram footage shows the worker punching the customer repeatedly, holding her down against the countertop and even launching her into a booth.

As the staff member storms toward her, the customer picks up a metal tray and hits her in the head with it, but she barely notices.

The video begins with the visitor throwing a milkshake at the employee who is angrily marching toward her.

At one point, Chavolla can be heard shouting 'my momma aint dead, you respect my momma!'

The customer moves to pick up a chair following this exchange, but apparently thinks the better of it based on the current situation and how she had fared in her previous outing against the quick-service restaurant staff, being disarmed and disabused of this notion quickly.

More rage-filled fighting words are tossed back and forth to close out the viral video, but no more punches are thrown.
